Pakistan vs Bangladesh (PAK vs BAN) 2nd ODI Live Cricket Score Updates: Bangladesh are 27/3 with Shaheen Afridi picking up two wickets before the break. Earlier, Pakistan have set Bangladesh a target of 275 in the second ODI at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur in a game that featured a controversial run out of Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha. Agha was run out for 64 when he was at the non-striker’s end and tried to pick up the ball to give the Bangladesh bowler Mehidy Hasan Miraz. But Miraz picked the ball up before Agha could reach it and threw it at the stumps before appealing for a run out. Agha was fuming at that appeal, but it was a legal dismissal within the laws of the game, and Agha was out of his crease, so he had to walk back. Including that wicket, Pakistan lost their final seven wickets for just 43 runs

Before that wicket, Agha and Mohammad Rizwan had stitched a 109-run partnership for Pakistan after coming together when Pakistan had lost three wickets with 122 runs on board. Two balls after Agha’s wicket fell, Rizwan departed too.

Earlier, Maaz Sadaqat had scored a 46-ball 75 to help Pakistan reach the 100-run mark in just 13 overs after they were asked to bat first by Bangladesh in the second ODI. Losing their first wicket for 103 is a much-needed improvement for Pakistan, considering they were bunded out for 114 in the first ODI.

While Bangladesh are unchanged, Pakistan have brought back Haris Rauf in the side after losing the first game by eight wickets earlier this week. Pakistan’s defeat in the first ODI had earned them copious brickbats back home in what was an extension of the fury directed at the team for crashing out in the Super 8 stage at the T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh are looking to wrap up the ODI series with another win today, while Pakistan will want to show that they are made of sterner stuff than it came across in the first game where they were bowled out for 114, their lowest total batting first against Bangladesh. With the ODI World Cup coming up, Pakistan are trying to find players who can shore up their side and had fielded four debutant batters (Sahibzada Farhan, Maaz Sadaqat, Shamyl Hussain and Abdul Samad) in the first ODI.
